Summer is always an exciting time photographically in France. There are events every week from the annual spectacle of the Tour to the local celebrations on the 14th July. This year I spent two days watching and photographing the tour as it passed through our department.

L'été est toujours une période passionnante sur le plan photographique en France. Il y a des événements chaque semaine, du spectacle annuel du Tour aux célébrations locales du 14 juillet. Cette année, j'ai passé deux jours à observer et à photographier le passage du Tour dans notre département.

 

This year we went to the 14th July celebrations held in la souterraine. A friends band, My Generation, were playing at the event and I had been asked to photograph them, so I had a busy, but very enjoyable evening.

Cette année, nous sommes allés aux célébrations du 14 juillet qui se sont déroulées à La Souterraine. Un groupe d'amis, My Generation, jouait lors de l'événement et on m'avait demandé de les photographier, j'ai donc eu une soirée chargée mais très agréable.
